But with so many oak structures available, what should you buy? Sometimes, you know you want the beauty of oak in your home, but you don't know the best way to do it!

Oak structures for the home balance functionality and beauty. An oak porch, for example, is a simple way to boost your kerb appeal and bring the charm of oak to your home for all passersby to see.
Apart from being an architectural feature, a porch offers a smooth transition from your driveway to your home. You’ll be grateful for the shelter when fishing for your keys with hands full of shopping bags.
Then, you’ve got the interior. Trusses and internal framing bring a luxurious style to your property. While timber trusses look at home in more traditional properties, we’ve supplied countless oak trusses for interiors oozing with contemporary style. Far from just an elegant feature, trusses of course are functional, offering high structural integrity.
Beyond your immediate home, there are more oak improvements to consider. Oak garden rooms have versatility and can connect to your home for use as an extension of your living space. Garages are multi-use structures where you can incorporate a roof room. Offices hold the key to productivity while working from home.
Oak structures become an integral part of your home life, and each structure has unique qualities. It’s a matter of finding the motive and benefits that suit you. Here’s a list of oak structures and their common purposes:

Buying an Oak Timber Structures product is straightforward. Here’s how it goes:
Use the Online Designers
At the top of each product page you’ll find the 3D Online Designers. You don’t need architectural know-how, just put your dimensions in, pick your features, and the design updates. It’s fun and puts you in control.
Worried about structural integrity? You shouldn’t. The Online Designer adapts to your design and adds the appropriate supporting beams for the structure. Furthermore, the price updates at every move, saving time waiting for quotes.
Should you want something unique, or just prefer to do things the old-school way, that's fine. Sketch out your design and contact us. We’ll help make sure the design is sound and ready for approval.
The CAD Drawing
We’ll then send over a CAD drawing. This drawing is a detailed digital illustration of your design showing the projected structure once assembled. All parts, including the connections and dimensions, are visible so you or your consult can check the details.
It’s here that you can make alterations. You need to address any tweaks or concerns at this stage, as it’s the CAD drawing that our team will work from in our workshop. Once approved, your structure goes into production.
The Production Process
We only use QPA and QP1 grade European Oak. These grades are of the highest construction quality.
Unless you’ve chosen otherwise, we’ll craft the structures from green oak, which is fresh cut timber. It’s from this high quality oak timber that our skilled team begins to craft your structure.
In production, years of know-how comes into play as they plane the timber and execute traditional joinery skills such as mortise and tenon joints. The high moisture content of fresh sawn oak means that as it dries and shrinks, these carefully crafted joints fuse, creating strong connections. From your imagination, a structure comes to life at our workshop.
We’ll label the parts, make sure it’s in working order, and pack the structure into a kit ready for delivery and assembly. We strive to make the buying experience personal, transparent and seamless. For an in-depth look at the buying process, read Buying an Oak Timber Structure: All You Need to Know.

Our structures arrive in kit form. What is an oak kit? A kit form oak structure is a full structure that is flat packed with all joinery work complete. This means it’s just a matter of connecting the parts. Some use this as a DIY project, others prefer to get a professional to help in the way of a general builder or landscaper on site for a job.
